Advanced Algebra/Trigonometry | MAT 310 

Prerequisite(s): Algebra 1, Geometry 
*May be taken concurrently with Geometry 

Embark on a deeper exploration of algebra and trigonometry with this course, designed to expand your mathematical understanding. 

  • Extend your algebra knowledge through multivariable systems of equations and inequalities 
  • Transform functions and delve into quadratic functions 
  • Build skills in exponential, logarithmic, polynomial, and rational functions 
  • Explore the relationships between sequences, series, and their applications 
  • Develop your understanding of trigonometry, including graphing sine and cosine functions and circular motion

After School Team Sports 

Prerequisite(s): GPA eligibility Length: Season 

Fee(s): $200 per sport *Sports occur after school 
Cheer uniforms: Additional $500-1000 annual fee

*Non-graded course (pass/fail grade) earns 0.5 credits per season 

Know an athlete? This is the class for you. An active, hands-on class that is highly useful in many areas of life. 

  • Learn techniques and procedures to prevent, recognize and treat/manage injuries 
  • Emphasis on recognition and immediate care for serious/ life threatening conditions 
  • Recognize, then provide immediate treatment, secondary treatment and rehab for common injuries 
  • Practice techniques for protective taping and wrapping
