Educational Therapy | SAS 1300 Department

Prerequisite: Approval from Director of Student Learning

Students receive individualized support to strengthen learning skills through structured educational therapy sessions during the school day. 

  • Participate in two 80-minute sessions per week, plus a 45-minute supervised independent study period 
  • Follow an individualized educational plan based on testing, academic records, and teacher/parent input 
  • Develop cognitive skills such as comparative thinking, logical reasoning, and problem solving 
  • Strengthen foundational academic skills 
  • Build strategies to support independence and effective learning 
  • Work toward becoming a self-directed, independent learner
