JH Concert Band is for 7th and 8th-grade students who have at least two years of experience in a band program or at least one year of private lessons.

• Commitments include: Evening Concerts, Band festival field trips.
• Develop God-given talents
• Glorify the Lord through a variety of music styles and compositions.
• Learn the fundamentals of playing an instrument, music theory, and performance
• Required Outside of Class Workload: weekly practice time 100 minutes per week; mandatory attendance at all concerts and festivals
• Additional Class Expenses: Instrument, accessories and maintenance, concert uniform consisting of black pants or long skirt and black shirt, black shoes
