Student Council is a leadership class for those who want to shape the culture of the Junior High. The students are responsible for organizing schoolwide activities, including assemblies, competitions, and other events. The course emphasizes leadership development, public speaking, and event planning. 

Student Council members: 

• Plan and help run junior high–wide events and activities 
• Practice public speaking, collaboration, and event planning skills 
• Demonstrate leadership, integrity, creativity, and the ability to follow through on responsibilities 
• Represent BCS as ambassadors for prospective students 
• Students nominated by teachers and peers are enrolled in the class
