Prerequisite(s): Audition, membership in additional BCS performing ensemble

Kantorei is BCS’ premier choir, singing mainly a cappella mixed-voice chamber music. This group performs on and off campus, throughout the region, competes, and travels annually on a domestic or international tour. Rehearsals take place before school, during zero period. 

• Deepen your music ability with challenging music across genres 
• Learn individual and ensemble skills, as students sing 1-3 on a part 
• Worship with friends through the gift of music 
• Perform on and off campus, in a variety of musical and outreach opportunities, such as basketball games, competitions, elementary campuses, and tours 
• Provide the skills to sing in college, church, and life 
• Mandatory attendance at all dress rehearsals, concerts, and festivals. Outside-of-class sectionals required as needed 
• Costs are covered in Men’s/Women’s Choir fees such as Performing Arts Retreat, performance attire, BCS tie, and pencils. International tours are optional and typically range from $3,500-$4,500
