Are the household products you use every day safe? What happens when you mix different substances? How do you create a soundproof room? Which properties of physics can help us design protection from a collision? Explore these questions and more in 8th grade physical science! By DOING science you will have the opportunity to discover with awe and wonder that God’s divine, creative fingerprints are all over creation. 

Units of study include: 

• Elements and reactions (Chemistry) 
• Force, energy, and waves (Physics) 
• Lessons are designed around active investigations. Expect labs, projects, and STEM challenges. 
• Engage in courageous design, joy-filled collaboration, and gracious communicating with curiosity as you collaborate with your peers.
